Papiers découpés / Papercuts

Je ne comprend pas pourquoi je n'en ai pas fait plus tôt. Le détourage du dessin au X-acto est extrêmement jouissif. Un plaisir très proche de la carte à gratter. D'ailleurs, mes premières illustrations sur carte à gratter utilisaient déjà la silhouette noire, il y a 15 ans. C'est donc un retour aux sources. C'est incroyable comment il y a des choses inscrites en nous dont on ne peut se défaire. 

I can't understand why I didn't make this early.  The cutting out of the drawing is hugely great. A plesure very closed to scatchboard. Yet, my first illustrations on scratchboard, 15 years ago, incorporated the black silhouette. So I come back to my roots. It is amazing to see such engraved things that you can't get rid of.
